Friday Friday Friday

What a busy, productive day!!
I actually put together 6 baskets this morning and promise that as soon as some more are done, I will get them posted on here so you gals can salivate and start bidding on them. I am going to PRE-SELL raffle tickets as well.

I am a bit cranky as the pool guys DID finally show up this week, but of course, thanks to them arriving after 3 weeks off, they apparently cut the cable to our tv downstairs. Now Verizon wants $300 to fix it and I can tell ya, I AM NOT PAYING A PENNY.

So, Capital Pools and Verizon better duke it out quickly cause I have 8 pieces of a wall unit all over my kitchen and family room floor and I got baskets to assemble. I am NOT gonna be happy doing it w/o backround noise. GRRRRRRRRR.

On a happier note, it is FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY and payday on top of that. WOO HOO and a big paycheck for me cause I worked full time the first week. YEAH. no raise in there yet, but we will get a retro check eventually.

With Courtyard donating the breakfast proceeds for the weekend, it was my mission this weekend to try to find a way to get the word out so that the general public would come in and eat. While there, of course, I will sell raffle tickets and stear them towards the silent auction baskets..

So, i started a HUGE email campaign........and I must tell you, it looks like it was a success. I have a newspaper reporter for the Tampa Tribune scheduling an interview to do a story AND I have gotten some response from TV too.

Watch out MS, cause Jackie is gonna getchya.

45 people attending on Saturday and random others on Fri and Sun. I do have enough room if there is someone you know that just wants Fri and Sun or a combo of either or. LMK.

I will also take back ups if anyone should have to cancel then i can offer that spot to the waiting list.

Hi there everyone,
I am working hard at getting all of the classes scheduled around all of the meals around everything else and it looks like it is all going to work out and nothing is going to overlap.......that is, if we stick to the schedule and keep these classes running on time(wink wink Ms. Jules).

So, I have started taking sign ups for the classes. Some of them have a VERY limited number of spaces available so do NOT delay. Email me to reserve your seat.

I just now returned from a meeting with Mike and Martin over there. I needed to visualize and go over the room with them to make certain that I know how many people that I can accomodate.

Looks like we are going to be SOLD out for the Crop. WOOOO HOOO. Apparently it looks as if the guest rooms will be sold out as well.

I think. It looks like this year's Crop 4 Hope is going to be a sell out. I actually have 4 registrations that I can not currently honor. YIKES.

However, I am going to the hotel this afternoon when school gets out to layout the room and see if I can manage a few more comfortably. I will let you all know tonite for certain.

Stacey Shook is going to be teaching a chipboard album class Saturday 10:30 am price to be announced SOON THEME: Road Trip-wayyyy cute album
**The talented Miss Elle will be teaching an altered photo cube class There are 10 spots available for this class on Saturday at 2pm. The cost for the class will be $25.00. There are certain supplies that you will be required to bring for this class, including very small photos or an index print. Detailed list of supplies will be emailed when you have signed up for and paid for your class.
** Jules from Hang Ten Paper Arts will be teaching an exclusive class from an exclusive kit entitled "What I did this summer" Available ONLY at the MS Crop for HOpe on Saturday at 8pm. What I did on My Summer Vacation (Crate paper Zoom line and Junkitz Boardz books)....a great way to record your summer...tons of fun. Class cost 30.00. 22 spots available and a portion of the class fee will be donated to MS Society too
.** Gerri-anne new owner of Kit-N-Kaboodle will be teaching an exclusive class from an exclusive kit available ONLY at the MS Crop for Hope on Friday at 8pm. She will also be sharing exciting news about the new K-N-K. The cost of this class will be $20 with a portion of the fee going to MS as a donation.
**CMC Carol Cooper to be doing demos as well-including digital scrapping and the new Creative Memories custom FRAMING. A portion of all sales made during the crop will be donated from CMC Carol Cooper to the MS Crop for Hope.
**CTMH rep. Adeline Brill and her downline will be teaching a class and doing make n takes. Here are the themes for you to ponder.Floral tapestry – frilly but soft green, blue and cream colors – great for babies, little girls, vintage photos, wedding etcCaprice – Flowery yet bold in colors of tan, chocolate and light blueEverlasting – Holiday but vintage colors of pine and cranberry – could be holidayFriday evening after dinner and all day on Saturday.
